Tridel® and K & G Principles Break Ground at Avonshire
With shiny shovels in hand, Tridel® and K & G Group dug deep to mark the beginning of construction on the Residences of Avonshire on Tuesday May 12th. Much to the delight of the crowd, President of K & G Group, Sam Goldband kicked off the event with a ceremonial dig using a giant excavator. The historic Ground Breaking launched the first phase of a visionary new master planned residential condominium community that will make a signature statement on the North York skyline.

To mark this major milestone, Mr. DelZotto was joined by K & G principles Marvin Katz, Sam Goldband and their families. Honored guests from Tridel® included Angelo DelZotto � CEO and Chairman, Elvio DelZotto � Deputy Chair, Harvey Fruitman � Executive VP, Dino Carmel � President of Deltera and Jim Ritchie - Senior VP of Sales and marketing. Avonshire has enjoyed exceptional sales success over the past year and a half. The first phase featuring two exquisite 21 storey condominium towers with 446 suites, along with a luxurious collection of Garden Villas is over 75% sold. Occupancies are scheduled for 2010. When fully completed, this innovative Tridel Built Green. Built For Life® community will be home to approximately 1,200 families living in four residential condominium towers, Garden Villas, town-homes, and a rental condominium residence.
