Tridel Receives Third Coveted Green Builder of the Year Award in Four Years, At Annual Home Builder Awards Show

Toronto, May 3, 2010 - For the third time since the award’s inception in 2007, Tridel, Canada’s leader in green condominium development, was named Green Builder of the Year, High-Rise, by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) at its annual Home Builder Awards gala. Since being added to the program, the category has quickly become one of the most prestigious designations and highly-competitive awards.

More than 900 industry professionals gathered for the 30th Annual BILD Awards hosted by the Building Industry and Land Development Association on April 30, 2010. The BILD Awards are presented each year to builders, architects, planners, and other disciplines actively involved in projects that have demonstrated building and design excellence.

The Green Home Builder of the Year award honours builders that have embraced sustainable and/or high-performance building, demonstrating outstanding leadership in the implementation of green building practices.
