Tridel’s Adnan Hashmi, Assistant Project Manager will be the featured speaker on Wednesday March 26th, 2008


Adnan Hashmi

Adnan Hashmi is currently an Assistant Project Manager on the North Toronto Collegiate Institute Project and a recent addition to the construction team at Tridel. As a new member to the team his goal is to work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure that the North Toronto Collegiate Institute Project is completed in a safe manner, on time according to the schedule, and within the construction budget.

Adnan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Victoria and an Associates degree from Montgomery College in Maryland, USA. Adnan has over eight years of experience in the construction industry. During his time, he has supervised construction efforts on a variety of projects. His skills include planning and scheduling, surveying, estimating, construction supervision, submittal review and management, field productivity and quality control, project correspondence and record, equipment management and construction safety.

Prior to joining the Tridel team, Adnan worked with the Bank of Montreal as a Financial Service Manager advising clients on their diverse investment portfolios. Later he decided to change his career path when he moved to Maryland and entered the construction industry. He worked as an Assistant Project Manager with Hess Construction Company where he worked in a team environment and completed construction projects involving the construction and renovation of high schools for the Fairfax Country School Board. Five years later he returned to Toronto and continued working for M.J Dixon as a Project Manager where he continued to work on renovation and new construction projects with the University of Toronto and the City of Toronto Fire Rescue Facility. His experiences have allowed him to gain insight in the construction industry from many vantage points and thus, giving him the edge to further develop his experience and knowledge in the field with the Tridel team.

Adnan in his spare time enjoys playing ball hockey, basketball and golfing. He is passionate about his career, sports and his family!
